Dry since 2.4 years but has recently having acccidents why?

My dd is 2.10yrs, she was dry throughout the day from 2.4, but recently she has started having accidents - and spots for no apparent reason. Thought it was attetion at first but now not convinced she has done it three times toady and she has had plenty of attention. Not sure how to deal with it have tried being cross, ignoring it and trying to talk to her but nothing seems to be getting anywhere. Anyone experienced the same or any ideas?

DD did the same not sure why either, but simply grew out of it. I did take her to the gp to rule out any urinary infection though. Just try and deal with it with a minimum of fuss and (hopefully) it will sort out by it's self. One thing I did do is periodically get her to go to the toilet so she was regularly emptying her bladder.

Hadn't thought of the infection thing might take her as you said just to rule it out. Hopefully as you say its a phase!

It is woth ruling out an infection as my dd suffered with uti, but thankfully is now clear. Also anothwer thing i was told to check for was worms as this can make you more frequant especially at night

Did she have any other symptoms? What is uti is that like cystistis?

Yeah it is, she also had pains round the kidney area and lower-back. Frequency to wee more and not being able to hold it so well. Hope this has helped
