Okay how many of us use Mooncups?
Just been converted and now have been nicknamed by my OH as Mrs.Bucket!
Seriously though wish I tried them a long time ago.

I am a convinced tampon user. I don't like, the idea of mooncups at all, although I can see the environmental advantages. I don't have any confidence that I would be able to get the thing in and out easily enough and that I would be able to position it properly. They make me think of contraceptive caps and how easy they are to put in incoreectly. My two best friends at school were conceived when their mothers were using caps.

Took me a year after hearing about them on Mumsnet (where else!?) to build up the courage to buy one, but am delighted with it. Well, as delighted as you can be by an item of santiary wear.

Told my mum about it once, and, open-minded as she tries to be, her reaction was "At last, one reason to be grateful for having passed the menopause."

MistressMary, sometimes when I put a tampon in. It sort of doesn't feel that it's gone right up. Feels like it's hanging in between (sorry if TMI) and it feels huge, like a baked bean can

Mine's gathering dust ... I couldn't get it positioned properly w/out it leaking and found it hard to remove .
