LOL, I was on the phone to my Mum and never noticed, I won't tell DH as he will be feeling a bit cheated.

Oh it was annoying, I had half an hour with NOTHING to do and mumsnet was down! House is clean, dh was cooking, children in bed, nothing on tv, no books I felt like starting. Grrrr! Browsed the Conde Nast Traveller site instead, it wasn't the same!

My dh reckons it's all the mumsnetters causing havoc by trying to post all at the same time, can't think why, it's not as if any of us have anything better to do!

When this has happened before, I google "mumsnet" and it instantaneously comes up with the site and is all working perfectly. I came off, and tried to get on again through normal channels just to check, but still no joy (but googling still OK).

Don't I'd just typed in a long thing on the antenatal thread and it bleendin disappeared!

Sorry about the break last night. The main server had a conniption (technical term). The poor love had been running for a year without a break and, it just said enough already.
