Looked at a property to rent but which has no heating upstairs. Which is the best sort of radiator/heater to keep bedrooms warm?
TIA

My parents don't have any central heating (honestly talk about the dark ages lol). They use the oil filled ones - you can get them in Argos. Not sure about the running costs though.

Thanks Potty, that's the bit I'm having trouble working out. Do the oil filled heat their home reasonably well? I've lived without heating loads before now, just not with children so a bit concerned.

tescos have them they were either 19.99 or 29.99. very good price, i considered one for the hallway as it gets so cold.

we have a halogen one for the garage/music room as it has no radiator and it is excellent heats up quickly and really low running costs

Thanks, I'll look into halogen and oil, just need something relatively cheap to run.

Ta for the Tesco tip off Misdee.

They house doesn't feel cold to me Levanna and I do genrally feel the cold. But it is a very old house and the walls are a couple of feet thick in places.
