to concentrate on setting up his self employed venture. I am really nervous as he will be looking for a small part time job to keep us going whilst the marketing and everything takes off. I need positive vibes from everyone as its very nerve racking.

Hope it went OK.

We are in the same position. DH giving up his nicely paid, safe job at the end of Feb to follow his dream and set up his own business.

We're really scared, but KNOW it's the best thing to do. In a way what's more scary is going through the next 20 years in a job he hates and getting to the end of his life never having given it a shot.

Best of luck to you. What's his business BTW? (ignore me if that's too nosy!)

He didn't do it - is going to wait until the marketing bumph comes back from the printers and we get it all eady to post out - that way we can get a few more weeks money out of his company.
