I had the pleasure the other week of visiting a factory in Norfolk who make some of the ranges of furniture for M&S. They sell the items that M&S have rejected for, on average, half price.
They do a few ranges, Lichfield, New England, Hemsley and French Pine I think.

The other week I bought £1000 worth for just £385 and today I have bought £3850 worth for just £1050.

The faults are minor, very minor in most cases. One of the tables that i bought on my first visit has been examined by plenty of people and as yet, nobody has been able to find the fault! I know where it is as they showed me before I bought it.

Anyway, if anyone is interested, it's in Dereham, Norfolk. tel no 01362 697931. They have open weekends about once a quarter I think. Also wortht mentioning, they have just won a new contract for Conran and today I also bought a fantastic Conran square coffee table with a tiny tiny fault for £75 (no idea where it's going to go but I thought it was lovely)

Sorry if I've just bored you with this useless information but I'm really chuffed with the savings I've made and wanted to share the details.

Not boring at all. Am usually found with cup of tea & 100 digestives looking through the M&S furniture wondering what I can't really afford. Thanks.

Very useful info mckenzie, thanks. Savings like that might be worth a trip down there. Do they deliver?
