There was nobody even remotely near it. So I scooped it up and took ds to the toy shop and bought him a giant artist's easle thingy which has a blackboard on it and some magnets on the other side and I also bought him a sandpit table with chair and cover. Both items reduced from £35 quid. I felt so guilty that I could feel it burning a huge hole in my pocket.
What a trivial post but this kind of thing never happens to me. It's so lovely watching ds he is thrilled.
Hmm, do you think maybe I am on a roll? Should I buy a lottery ticket?

Nice one!! Don't feel guilty about using it to spoil your ds. If you had stolen it off someone or saw them drop it and didn't return it is a different matter.

I think what makes it nicer is the fact that post xmas we're feeling the pinch!

Excellent!

I found £20 two weeks ago in Next! It was on the floor in the queue for the till and no-one looked like they had dropped something. I waited until everyone in front had gone - they didnt look like they had lost something so i picked it up.

It paid for what i was buying and i bought DS a toy too
