Kelly1978 · 16/01/2006 10:02

if you have an ipod you can buy music in itunes - the software that comes with the pod. They have an online shop which is dead easy to use.

lou33 · 16/01/2006 10:21

wong, email me, i may have tracks already that you want

CountessDracula · 16/01/2006 10:24

Allofmp3 much cheaper

CountessDracula · 16/01/2006 10:46

I think you can download for free ie listen to the track on your computer but you can't save it or burn it to cd

Kelly1978 · 16/01/2006 16:18

free downloads are often songs that no-one actually want to listen to.

boobyprize · 16/01/2006 17:49

like lift music?

usually stuff I've never heard of. That site cd recomended is rather good. I've been trying it out. It's so much cheaper than itunes. It's harder to use than itunes, but I haven't read the gettign started bit. I've already spent $10, and I'm now toppign up again.

Redtartanlass · 17/01/2006 11:41

There are sites where you can download free music and they can be burned to disc, put on MP3 & Ipods etc. The same site also lets you download films!!!

Not sure of the legalities though If I were to use such a site...I would try googling the word Limewire.

It's really easy to use(so I've heard)

Kelly1978 · 17/01/2006 16:01

lol. I've heard of a similar p2p thing called kazaa. but I've also heard that a lot of the tracks are dodgy or simply don't download. Do you have any idea if Limewire is any better?

QueenMab · 17/01/2006 16:05

Have a look at zeropaid.com Everything you could want to know about P2P software etc. All programs rated and available to download. Downloading music/ films etc in this way highly illegal though! So bear in mind that you may to persevere and a lot of what you d/load (not so much music, but especially so for films) may be poor quality, fakes or porn that has been renamed!!
