my friend has a 10yr dd and a 5 yr ds and lives in a 2 bdroom - what is the age for different sexes to have their own rooms with the council

The top two are 'needs a room of their own' not seperate rooms iyswim.

Age limit at my council seems to be age 5 - which is bizarre.

I just typed in my local councils name and clicked on 'housing' link. It has lots of waffle, but also some good stuff!

Look for 'housing allocation' link if there is one too.

if they wont move her, how big are the bedrooms? any chance she could have one split? some councils will do that or at least give permission for the tenant to do it at their own expense.
