Just because I am young it doesnt mean you can make comments about me...
Just because i have a push chair it doesnt make me deaf.. I can hear all your mutterings..
Just because I am female it doesnt mean you have a right to stand before me in the queue or shove me out of the way to get there...
Just because you are old it doesnt give you the right to sit in the pushchair spaces and refuse to move (when there are plenty of other seats available)
Just because you are old it does not give you the right to direct words such as 'Fuck' and 'Bitch' at me in front of my children
Just because you are old it doesnt give you the right make me feel bad.
And just because you ARE old you were lucky I didnt tell you exactly what I thought about you, shove you back and make the driver kick you off the bus so you could walk home in the cold.
I have as much right to use the buses as you do. I dont care that in your day you had to walk everywhere with no shoes on..I am fortunate enough to live in a time where these things are available and I am going to take advantage of it so there!
This is the third time in as many days that I have had this problem (I get the bus just as the bingo kicks out)
And to all the others on the bus listening/watching... just because its not directed towards you doesnt mean you have to stay quiet and let him get away with it. A bit of support would not have gone amiss.
