THere have been a few of them from dd's pre-school and other schools to help the university research what effects all the e numbers and additives and crap in food has on them.

I know that it has a negative effect - that's just commom sense but I'm quite keen to see exactly how much of a difference it makes.

Over 6 weeks we have to reduce the amount of additives she has in everything she eats and they will supply a different drink for her every day. Mostly fresh and good for her but on an occassion they'll give her a drink with additives - I suppose a bit like having water every day then suddenly a fruit shoot - and then seeing if it makes a difference to her behaviour/moods etc.

Has anyone else taken part in anything like this? A lady from the Uni is coming tomorrow morning to see us and talk about it all... can you think of any good questions?

I'd want to be sure the drink with additives was one that was already commercially available in this country - i.e. they're not testing new additives on your DD.
