Not sure if right place to post this so feel free to move if need be.

My car is on its way out. I need a new one. I love love love the little Fiat 500 - have done since it first came out, but I'm really not sure it will be practical to swap my 5 door renault megane hatchback for one of these. Currently got a 16month old but plan to try for another baby next year so he will be approx 2.5 when new baby comes along, so we will need space for 2 car seats & a pushchair in boot.

Has anyone got a Fiat 500 & can you even fit 2 car seats in it & what about boot space? Can it take a pushchair & if so what - or is it an absolute no???

Think it might be madness to even consider it, but have opportunity for a really good deal on one through my workplace.

Have a look at this thread. the only thing I'm thinking about particularly is whether you'll need a double pushchair. There seems to be a general consensus that with that age gap you'll need a double or at least deal with a sling for a while.

I have a Fiat 500 and you can fit two car seats in the back quite easily. There might not be enough room to recline a seat if the front seat is pushed quite far back. I did wait until my youngest was the right age for a high-backed booster as I didn't fancy strapping her into a 5-point. I wouldn't be keen on any 3-door car if my DC were too young to climb into the seat by themselves, I think it would wreck my back.

The boot is teeny, really small. I can get four large shopping bags in the back, and absolutely nothing else. You would have to try and see if your pushchair could fit.

It's a gorgeous car, I love it to bits. Grin
