longwaytogo · 11/01/2006 20:58

Daft question but who puts these sites together? Is it Tesco or is it someone who finds out the information only intended for the priveledged few and lets others know?

MerlinsBeard · 12/01/2006 13:01

i think its just some guy that gets these codes himself and from friends etc. I have certainly never had any so not a clue. i enjoy using them tho

Just a question. I sometimes use the codes posted on MN for a discount off my shopping but recently have started to feel a slight pang of guilt about it. Are these all codes that if you looked hard enough in magazines/leaflets and things you would find or are these codes that have been issued to specific people?

JoolsToo · 13/01/2006 00:25

there are a lot of sites dedicated to to Tesco codes

why the guilt? they're making a big enough profit out of us!

bumping this as I need the code tomorrow!

heavenis · 16/01/2006 13:17

I've put a web address on and some codes under discount for asda and tesco

MrsMiggins · 22/01/2006 19:43

i wouldnt feel guilty as something like every 30p out of every £1 spent in the country is spent in Tescos

so I am shopping on line with Tescos as better quality than our Morrisons AND I have bad back but deliberately searched MN b4 going to checkout

Misspiggy · 22/01/2006 20:28

Absolutely, Mrs Miggins! I also have no guilt at all about using these codes as Tesco have no guilt about moving into areas and undercutting all the competition until they are forced to close which has happened where I live and is why I have to use them, although Lidl have recently opened and are playing them at their own game. Thanks Jools!

hub2dee · 22/01/2006 20:57

This may also be useful, though cannot be applied at the same time as JanH's code:

1000 extra ClubCard Points XX-C8L3 Expires 29/01/06 Minimum order value £50. Source www.i-want-2-buy.co.uk/voucher.htm

HTH

PS - JanH: Looking at your suggestions for Redoute mattress protectors as the waterproof fabric on our 6 year old John Lewis ones has just disintegrateded, LOL... do you reckon the Redoute ones would be as good ?

hub2dee · 22/01/2006 20:58

Sorry, got JoolsToo and JanH mixed up. Woops.
