What can I get a colleague who is having an breast op? Pampering etc.

She is off from today for a week or so, having exploratory stuff done (think it is a cyst on her breast, not sure of full details as I do not want to pry).

Now I was thinking of getting her some pampering stuff, but will she be able to soak in the bath after an operation?

Any other ideas for me?

Up to about £10 or so, bit skint!

Ta.

That's jolly nice of you!

What about some nice body lotion or a good book/selection of magazines?

After I'd had an op my friend wrapped a shoe box in wraping paper and filled it with mini body lotion, a mimiture vodka bottle, one of those small magazines (Glamour I think) you could do that and pop in a bar of chocolate and other bits and bobs.

was also going to suggest lots of different mags and some nice choc, maybe green and blacks?

Good ideas, thanks.

Am off to Boots for myself at lunch anyway so will have a look, I think they do a section with lots of travel stuff in, small bottles etc, so a selection of those would do.

Think I will stick to moisturiser type stuff just in case baths are out.

Plus a magazine.

Def mags, hand cream, nail file, little things that you can potter and play with when you are bored. What is the mag that has the puzzles in - Take a Break?
