We moved into this house a few months ago and there is a woman with a child of about the same age as my DS1 who lives next door. I thought great a friend for DS.
Except she doesnt seem intrested in me or in our children making friends - she does however seem intrested in making friends with my DH
If we are going out and she sees him she will spent 10 mins talking to him as he stands there freezing and trys to gets away but if we are both outside she doesnt say more than hello! Or if it is just me she will smile but not attempt to make conversation.
I find it quite amusing, she is about 15 years older than dh (mid 30's i would say) but at the same time it annoys me that it is so obvious she is intrested in him. Hello - hes married!!
I have told Dh that i think she fancies him and he finds it funny although is getting annoyed at having to freeze outside talking to her, but she is nice and polite so he cant exactly walk away.
I suspect (although I may be paranoid) that the other day she deliberatly faffed about on her doorstep to wait until i was in the house so she could talk to dh. He thinks im imagening things.
Should I do anything? or nothing? I really doubt DH would play on her attraction etc but you never know.
