If you have just downloaded them to the computer you will need to then transfer them onto the mp3 player with some of them.

sickandtired · 09/01/2006 18:18

I have mananged to get them on the mp3 player, it says that they are wma but it just won't play, its a whole album and I can see each of the songs

codnotamod · 09/01/2006 18:19

dh says we ahve to dwonload them ont he the mp3 player when its int eh pc

flutterbee · 09/01/2006 18:19

Aaahh ha you have the same one as me and I just mastered it yesterday.

Plug the key in and then go into your my music bit on the pc, where you will obviously see all the music/files you have downloaded. Now on my pc I just click on the tab at the top that says burn/transfer it will open another window and then you can drag the songs you want over (or sychnorise to transfer all data) and it should all appear on your mp3

flutterbee · 09/01/2006 18:20

so you can see them on the mp3 player or on your pc

sickandtired · 09/01/2006 18:21

but i did that - I can see the files on the damn thing, but they won't play - is it cos they are WMA

OP posts:
flutterbee · 09/01/2006 18:22

I'm really not sure, I'm sorry all I did yesterday was transfer music from my CD's onto it.

Rowlers · 09/01/2006 18:23

I remember having the same problem with mine months ago.
I'm buggered if I can remember what I did though.
Will think and get back if I can remember.

sickandtired · 09/01/2006 18:24

when I go in to my music on the pc they are not there, but when i search they are in C:\Documents and Settings\Owner\My Documents\My Albums

Can't you save them as mp3 files on your pc 1st and then copy them to your mp3 player. I don't have one but I guess they're called mp3 players because they play mp3 files, not wma files.

emily05 · 10/01/2006 10:44

I had this exact problem. apparently you can buy software to convert the files from WMA to MP3. very annoying I think that it is delibrate so that once you buy the song you cant copy it to CD
