COD...COD.....I need advice ....CALLING COD

Cod, I am going back to work this week and work in the same field as you. I have been off for the last 2 years and have missed the Criminal Justice Act 2003, all the Asbo stuff, and the new Sexual Offences Act. A lawyer friend said the Criminal Offences Act "has changed the face of criminal law". Has it???? if so I'm b~~~~ered! What have you noticed to be the biggest changes in the last 2 years?

Any advice would be massively appreciated.

hearsay evidence came up today
and i am the expert in bad character ( not) well we did it and i understood it hten

dh was going on about hearsay but I think I'm going to have to deal with that as it comes as I find the whole hearsay thing a nightmare anyway (who doesn't) the bad character I have got a handle on, it just seems like common sense doesn't it. my boss called me tonight and told me my first case is just a first appearance and requesting an adjournment. my afternoon case is a youth court pre trial review.

shouldn't send any innocents to prison with those
