DD (14) has a fancy dress heroine theme! HELP, any ideas for something modernish and easy. TIA.

Blonde streak and gloves as Rogue from X-men? Or a serious coat and shades as Trinity? Alice band and red outfit as InvisiGirl from the Incredibles? Plaits for Princess Leia? Bow and arrow as Susan from Narnia?
The most successful ones are when you look a bit like the character already...
Would only consider historical heroines if party is being given by a history teacher or similar - too much scope for looking deeply uncool.
