Do you want to hide stuff in the bottom (ie opaque doors)?

argos have loads! th4e link i posted has 8 pages worth! bound to be something there...
think you can narrow down the search to just look for chrome/glass whatever

You can add doors to the Ikea Liatorp range.

I think there are more Billy options in the paper catalogue than there are show online.

Magiker is another customisable range.

We have smaller Billy's with solid doors, which you probably also fit to a taller one to give you shelves above. Still shown in the 2006 catalogue (p130)if not online. Also have a look at Effectiv

Billy is only narrow though. We have one on the end of the hall for this specific reason, otherwise it would block access to the kitchen. It is a tall book case with 6 shelves and doors on the bottom half. We have it in birch.

Also have one minus the doors in DS's bedroom in white. He has books on the bottom two shelves and then toys in baskets on the higher shelves.

The Expedit Bookcase from Ikea can also have the Billy doors and drawers fitted. It is deeper.
