verruca HELP!

Anyone know of any way in which you can help dd with a painful verrucca (wart on foot)? She has had it for two months now and it looks worse than ever. Tried Buzucca ("...that verruca") but it doesn't claim to help it heal/clear and so seems pointless using plaster to keep it infecting anyone else. Trouble is at times it is painful to walk on. Now back at school and so problem is worse than ever. Can anyone out there help? Wondering about a chiropodist but the books say it will go on it's own and no-one else seems to be bothered by theirs, wondered about doctors but hate going to them and they are bound to say it will just go but how much longer must dd suffer?!

wanted to double check a few things re: banana treatment of verrucas.........i have been placing the banana skin via plaster on my son's foot each night for a week now and the verruca is now a very raised bump with a bit of black in the middle.........is this a sign that its working do people think?......also, should i be filing the bump each night as i am a bit apprehensive in doing so as do not want to cause further infection, but at the same time not sure if the verruca will just drop off if i do not file - what are people's experience? incidentally, have noticed another verruca on the edge of the one i am treating which has just come up since treating original. have also been treating with tea tree oil as i have heard this is an antiseptic. how are things progressing for people? HOPE THIS TREATMENT WORKS FOR US ALL!X

have had my pet veronica the very large verruca for years now.
and she has always been a source of embarrassment
have tried otc stuff and freezing (before wedding to try and start afreash but she came back !)
was resigned to keeping her forever as the 'they go away on their own eventually' philosphy wasn't working either.
then had ds and feel terrible that he might catch it as he starts walking
so was going to try otc stuff again when omg i found a second one
veronica has reproduced - copycat!!!
aarrgghh!

so searched faithful MN and am going to join the banana club!
how is everyone's going? or gone hopefully!
