Glitterygook · 02/01/2006 10:02

QueenVictoria · 02/01/2006 10:08

Should we suggest he come here for some decent marital advice?

But then, what do us lot know?

How exactly did they gate-crash MN?

Toothyboy · 02/01/2006 16:15

Woo - Sky Tv 'full package' - his wife's a lucky, lucky lady!

hercules · 02/01/2006 16:21

Sorry, dont get why you'd post a link to a thread on another website where a guy has been left by his wife. Is it meant to be funny?

WigWamBam · 02/01/2006 16:30

I like the bit where he says "women have primative senses dormant within their feeble minds". Feeble minded we may be, but I guess that most of us can at least spell primitive ...

GDG · 02/01/2006 16:34
Shock
hercules · 02/01/2006 16:37

But any man could be forgiven for doing the same to some of the threads here about men. I dont get the point of this.

JoolsToo · 02/01/2006 16:45

his wife hasn't left him!

they linked to this site first taking the rise out of my dd's situation

then I found this thread on their site - you should read it herc - it's an eye opener, mainly men tho I'd guess

OP posts:
hercules · 02/01/2006 16:46

what situation Jools?

FlossNutsRoastingOnAnOpenFire · 02/01/2006 16:52

It was the selling your house in 2006 thread. He was commenting on my situation. He may well be right in much that he said but I found it very hard for a complete stranger to come in and make his assumptions based on a few (all be it perhaps telling) lines.

JoolsToo · 02/01/2006 17:05

yes floss - but then they started discussing GDG house situation on their site!

FlossNutsRoastingOnAnOpenFire · 02/01/2006 17:09

I know JT, I didn't mean for my post to sound like he p'd me off alone, I read it back after I posted and realised it sounded like that, so sorry!

HRHQueenOfQuelNoel · 02/01/2006 17:19

Having just read a few of the threads on there - the house market is 'slow' round here (well apparently) but in the last 3 months no less than 6 (maybe 7?) houses have gone up for sale on this street, and sold - one 2 doors down from us fetched it's asking price (a 2 which reached the same amount we bought out 3 bedroom one for 1yr ago) - and I believe the others got close to asking prices too.

Thankfully we won't be needing to sell ours

JoolsToo · 02/01/2006 17:27

Floss! no need - I wasn't having a go!
