what time did the supermarkets shut tonight?

Dh just went out to get more nappies and they're all shut!!

about 6ish I think, maybe he could try a Petrol station!!!!!

No Spar sadly. Our Asda is 24/7 but not xmas Eve it seems!!

Asdas don't open over night on Saturdays anyway because of the Sunday Licensing/Trading laws anyway can we really expect them to open over night on Xmas eve.!!!

sorry, but they shut between 4-6pm on xmas eve, shop workers deserve some time off as well

tesco express are open boxing day, and usually spar/alldays type shops will have one open for a few hours xmas day.

I didn't mean I expected them to stay open. Just wondered when they shut! I never thought they'd be open 24 hours today. I was working today and finshed at 4pm too. Don't out words into my (merry) mouth

i used to work at safeway, andf the amount of people who would be loitering as we left moaning that we were shut at 4,5,6pm used to drive me mad.

Well, if you lived here, you could still nip down to Lidl or Sainsbury's.
Lidl is open till 10 pm and Sainsbury's till midnight.

where are you and one of us could give you some nappies?

I know I have plenty and wouldn't mind giving you some but I am in Livingston if that helps

Our tesco was open til 5pm today. Our local safeway/petrol station is open tomorrow.

We realised we needed a new camera battery and more sellotape after the shops had shut.

I guess running out of nappies is more inconvenient, though.

Where do you live our"back shop" opens tomorrow too..newsagent/off licence/convenience store...
