Just a note for all you expat aussies living in the UK - manged to buy timtams from my local tesco - plain, chewy caramel and double dipped....

Already been into them..... oh boy...

will have to avoid the bisuit aisle now.....

Guess what they were putting on the shelves in Tescos when I went shopping earlier?? Yup, Tim Tams! And this is in NE Scotland, the end of the universe, no less. In honour of this thread I purchased a packet of caramel ones, because I am fond of caramel. I'll give you my considered opinion later on, when I've had a chance to try one.

I have a packet of Tim Tams in my fridge at the moment, but am desperately trying to avoid them as I've put on a little bit of weight recently... damn this chocolate addiction.

chewy caramel tim tams - took them to share with mil who loves chocolate when we went over for dinner last night - she loved them....

mind you paid at the scales at ww tonight - oh well I LOVED THEM

I didn't have time to eat one today, been too busy, Lethal! Maybe I'll have one with my lunch tomorrow, although I have the whole day to myself so might indulge in some retail therapy and have lunch out. Do you think M&S or JLP would mind if I ate Timtams in their cafe??

discovered Tim Tams a while ago, but have gone off them a bit - I'm not Antipodian but love all the Aus and NZ goodies - sometimes order stuff from Cybercandy...

Oh, yes, I did, Lethal, then I forgot to post!! I have to say, the caramel improves TimTams a lot. Otoh, I haven't been back for a second one.....
