Is there a CD he'd really like - they're just under 10 pound in supermarkets.

tamba · 19/12/2005 17:19

He doesnt listen to music and although there is a book he'd like i know my mom has got it for him.

I definatly cant get him a smelly set as he still has some left over from last year

a can of beer,
and a lads mag?

TheVillageIdiot · 19/12/2005 17:23

He's had some there before and they wash very well and they are also very stylish, well so i think

Blandmum · 19/12/2005 17:26

Lots of boobies in those!

Have about some sweets from a supermarket..about a £1. A suduko puzzle book £2,50. A nice bottle of beer....one with a snazzy label £2.50, a jokey soap on a rope thing?

TheVillageIdiot · 19/12/2005 17:26

Could you rope somebody into babysitting for free? you could buy 2 cinema tickets and go for an evening out

Blandmum · 19/12/2005 17:31

I have just had a look on the Boots website and they have an auto scanner radio for £5 and a keyring personal organiser for £5 and they are in the 3 for 2 range.

zippimistletoes · 19/12/2005 17:34

have shufti at this

Gifts under 10 at sainsburies

loads for you to brouse through

heavenis · 19/12/2005 17:40

Do you have Primark near you they've got jeans for £4 and t-shirts around the same price.

Or you could buy some choccies, bottle of wine and then wrap yourself for him to unwrap.

kalexcelsis · 19/12/2005 17:43

A desk diary, around nine pounds, means he would think about you every day, or a least have a wee chuckle

Rudolphthebluenosedteddy · 19/12/2005 17:44

They have 3 for 2 deals in Boots ATM. They always have good gift bits in for Christmas.

thecattleareALOHing · 19/12/2005 17:44

Bottle of whisky or favourite drink
Jumper and t-shirts from Primark (bought a nice one for dh the other day for £8)

tamba · 19/12/2005 17:49

Thank you all - i really appreciate your ideas and links

If i wrap myself it means i have to do the whole sex thing and it is much to cold to do that, except for a half dressed quicky under the covers

I am going shopping tomorrow and i think i will be able to get him something nice now.

Thanks again xxx

You could also make some 'cheques' for treats in the future......a lie in, 2 hours peace and quiet without the kids, his favorate meal etc

MrsSpoon · 19/12/2005 17:56

Key rings (Herbie, Trotters' Ind Trading, Mini, Dalek, Tardis etc) in M&S for £2.50, also on a three for two, last time I was in.

skerriesmum · 19/12/2005 18:00

along the line of "cheques", nookie vouchers!

cupcakesbakingonanopenfire · 19/12/2005 18:28

you could get him some retro sweets from his youth (like Texan bars) from \link{http://www.aquarterof.co.uk/a quarter of} website. They claim to still be delivering for Christmas.
