Bloody Hell - just been stung by a wasp!

Bloody buggery wasp, in December!
I was so ed!
Got me right between my two fingers. I had to pull the sting out. Least it could have done was bring on labour instead of leaving me with an incredibly sore, numb hand.
So glad it was me and not Lottie though, ohhhhhhhh makes my blood run cold to think of her being stung by it.

Cut and onion in half and put in on, helps the sting

I was almost stung by one last night, and I've seen a few around today as well. I thought it was odd to see them so late in the year.

Ahhhh, have people wondered where I disappeared to, that's so nice.
LOL, you know how maternity leave is before the baby appears, hectic like you've never. I'm like a mad woman. Drop Lotbags at nursery at 9.30 and then tear around buying and doing stuff, race home, make ten ton of chilli, coq au vin, spag bol etc etc, then race to pick Lots up at 3.30, then before I know it D is home and I spend the night writing Xmas cards, wrapping presents and so on.

Fingers crossed there will be some news after the weekend

Oh, no! Sorry you've been stung - in bloody December too?! Mind you, loads of trees seem to still think it's summer - there'll be blossom at Christmas, I bet!

I hope as well as having birthday celebrations for Lottie that I'll be having her brother or sister!

My money's on Monday Well, I say money. Just had our drive done so haven't got any left (you'll have to come and see it...though perhaps not this weekend... It's a considerable improvement on the heap you trekked across the other night )!
