I wanted to buy a little bike thingy for dd for Christmas but the store never had one in stock for me to have a look in the flesh - IYKWIM.
Eventually, I was told by the shop that they were out of stock - that is why they never have any in - they could have told me before! Anyway, they said that they should be having in some this week so I could phone up sometime this week to order.
Looked at the website on Sunday and rang the Customer Service number who said that 'Yes they are getting some in stock but that the back order list is full, but they would take my number just in case etc.'
I said it wasn't the end of the world if I had to wait until after Xmas as dd is only 14 months old - at which point the CS operator thanked me for being so reasonable as they often get such moany people ringing.
On Tuesday, I got a phone call asking if I wanted one - which I did and it got delivered today - hurrah!
Can't believe that on the very rare occasion that I wasn't an arsey cow - my good nature has paid dividends.
Think I'll be more reasonable in future - hurrah for Mothercare!
