one in shopping centre cos he had no customers and one last night (from local church) teaching us that is not all about presents, drinking and over the top lights and displays comes round on the back of a truck..rope light reindeers, christmas trees etc..playing 'The Darkness'!!??...and best yet waving with one hand while smoking a fag with the other???!!!!

my dd was absolutlely traumatised!..she keeps saying 'he's not coming back ever is he' and doesnt want to go see father christmas this sunday as we planned!

i told her he was a man pretending to be father christmas!! and the 'real' father christmas had told him off and thrown him into space so he'll never 'EVER' come back(the things you say on the spot!!)

i know..we were looking at the moon tonight when i was driving to pick dp up and she asked me if the 'rude, loud' father christmas is there or if he's still flying through space

i saw FC with a bottle of whiskey in his hand once. The rotary club oine so he should have been a good one! luckily ds1 was too young to know

Apparently DD saw Father Christmas take his beard off in the street last weekend. DP said it just stopped her in her tracks and her jaw just dropped .

took dd to a house who put on millions of lights and animations for children at christmas all for childrens charities and we went back sunday gone to see 'the quiet' father christmas (as dd insists the 'real' one is now clled)
she was fine till we got in, but then cried..however once she caught a good luck at him and listened to how kindly and nice he was she stopped and started chatting to him...he was absolutely lovely..made me wonder myself???hmmmm??????
she got a lovely gift, a bag of sweeties anda balloon...job done!!..she luuuurves father christmas now(the quiet one that is)
