Help! What can I buy my dad for his 70th?

I've been racking my brains for something a bit more special to by my dad for his 70th birthday but I'm stuck. He's a nightmare to buy for as everything seems to just be stored away in the wardrobe (which drives me mad), so I don't want to have my gift wasted, I'd rather have the £25!

Any suggestions please??????

a day trip somewhere or a nice meal out?

aprilgirl · 11/12/2005 19:47

what about inthepaper.com quite good 'keepy' idea?????

NottsMum · 11/12/2005 19:52

Nice idea, but a bay tree is sooo not my dad. Made me laugh though

Unfortunately I can't do a day trip or meal out as I can't afford to treat my mum at the moment .

Just been to inthepaper.com but it's some weird list of links, the first one being:
"Incontinence odor?
Odor eliminating charcoal cloth works with your incontinence pad
www.flat-d.com"

are you trying to say something about my dad!!!

DH and are are now googling for historical papers though..... nice idea....

but PLEASE keep the ideas coming!

Have his local paper delivered for 6 mths
Or pay for it, if he already gets it.

Or pay for something he already gets?

Oops too late
