I wanted to do a child's gift shoebox with my 4yr old DD so that she can learn to appreciate that not all people are as fortuntate as we are. Unfortunately, the "Operation Christmas Child" appeal has stopped collecting, I only found this out when I got back from holiday a week ago.
It's only just dawned on me that I should ask on MN, although I expect I've left it too late, but does anyone know of any other similar charities that are still collecting?
