I think Rome is way OTT. There is no need to showing as much as they do.
I think it's a cheap shot from the BBC to make porn to get some viewers in tbh.

Dh's excuse for the programme is that it's real portrayl of what life would have been like then. Apparently thats all they would have done!

Go ahead buy it for him, I would for my DH, never really does much for me but I don't mind watching it every now and again with him mind you he has only watched porn about twice in the last year and I watched it with him both times, if he watched it all the time then I would be concerned.

Just asked dh about it and he stands by the fact that its a history programme! He did say the first programe was rude but it was for the benifit of portraying the era accuratly! Men!! any excuse!
