and am feeling sort of ok - but still have to get through the evening routine with the boys. - Had training yesterday morning 9.30-12.30, worked last night from 9.45-7.30am, then training was from 9.30-4 today.

How on earth do I keep myself going enough to actually feed and change them for bed without getting totally stressed out if they decide to play up???

By congratulating yourself on doing so well so far. And by doing the bare minimum - no quick hoover or anything like that. And by giving them something really easy for tea - beans on toast?. And by making sure you eat as well and maybe a cup of coffee just to get you through the next couple of hours.

Doing Chicken Buritos for dinner - nice and easy - left over chicken from the other night, tin of red kidney beans, tin of tomatoes, tortillas.

I've had so many cups of coffee today I practically ran home as I was busting for the toilet and they were all in use before I left LOL.

Well how's it going so far? What time is bedtime? You must be counting down.

HRHQueenOfQuelNoel · 07/12/2005 17:14

Well - we eat dinner between 6 and 6.30 - bedtime is 8pm.......

Oh still a way to go then. Is there no way you could ease it forward slightly?

HRHQueenOfQuelNoel · 07/12/2005 17:19

well I could - but then they'll be up well before the crack of dawn unfortunately [frown]

well I've done it - got them both fed and put to bed - DS2 was compeltely hyper and I have to confess I did raise my voice a little - but it can't have been too bad as he didn't promptly burst into floods of tears (usually a stern "no" has him howling lol).

Oh right. Didn't know you had another job (other than part of your DH's business.) Doing what? And how is DH's business doing?

(You are probably asleep now..!)

Well done QoQ. Guess you are probably still dreaming now though!

HRHQueenOfQuelNoel · 08/12/2005 10:33

lol thanks Bozza - went to bed at 11.15 last night - woke up about 9 this morning, but staying in bed until 10

Jess - blimey you've missed a lot - basically in a nutshell, buisness is nomore, I'm working as a part time care assistant (nights), DH is TV Licence Officer, money still cr*p, probably have to sell the house (or have it repossessed), - ermm think that's the basics.

  • you stayed up until 11.15? And I thought I was out late - I got home at 11.40 pm but had only been up since 6.30 am. And I'm tired today.
HRHQueenOfQuelNoel · 08/12/2005 10:37

yep - knew if I went to bed too early I'd wake up in the middle of the night and be restless for the rest of it.

As it was I woke up at 7.55, but went back to sleep again, then 9.15 was awake and nearly got up - but was too warm and cozy so just lay there

HRHQueenOfQuelNoel · 08/12/2005 10:38

oh - and I'm working again to night - so will be up until 9.30 tomorrow morning.

Cripes QofQ.. sorry.. .. don't know how I missed that! What a shame it didn't work. Scary thing, starting your own business. Don't think I could do it!

Hope you don't lose the house.

SJ xx
