Scottish MNetters-how many weeks out of the year are our kids actually in school?

woops, wrote it all in the title!!

does anyone know? I think it's 39 weeks a year they're in school, I'm not sure....

I made it 40, not including in-service days and long weeks ends, so probably 39.

ACcording to Perth & Kinross COucil website - 190 days

what's 190 days in weeks [sorry - thick emoticon]
