Had a good one today - only one person serving - three register areas in total. I line up behind woman serving only to have another couple come up to a different counter - dump their stuff and be served immediately.. Oh well that happens...
Cloe/Sasha whoever the hell she was then has a lovely long chat with her colleague about nothing in particular and then asks me for my postcode - I give one.. not mine you see - and she then finally rings up the sale. As I am leaving the store with very tired crying babe by this stage... a sercurity guard asks me for my receipt - I check in the bag - no receipt - oh well she must have given it with my change... nope no receipt in that pocket - at which point - security guard askd me if I remember who served me - it was only two seconds ago - yeh some dumb young blonde silly thing.... He will nto let me out of the store unless I have a recipt to prove I bought the CD's.
So I traipse back to the register only to have said young annoying thing.... go Oh yeh I forgot to give you your receipt - NOT only me but the guy she had just finished serving was about to go off without his as she suddenly realised she had two of them.... Well in my loudest most hacked off superior teacher voice - I inform young man not to go off without his receipt or he will not be allowed out of the store... he looks at mad woman with crying child and grabs his receipt then is gobsmacked when the security guard demands he produce it......
I am so annoyed - my first visit to this store and now my last..... Like I have nothing better to do with my time than drag two small children and one moany husband out on a rainy friday afternoon and flog CD's - not even what you would call trendy Cd's - an old Pink Floyd for dh and Il Divo - hunky young tenors for me.... like people will be bashing the doors down for them.
I am so unimpressed about the whole experience I am writing to the manager of the store and the CEO of the chain of stores to complain.....
Strangely enough the securiy guard did not want to check the pram or my bag though!!!!
