err, give it to her?

hunkermunker · 26/11/2005 11:09

What else can you do but give it to her?!

misdee · 26/11/2005 11:09

when she see her, knock on the door, and hand her the parcel.

Kylie03 · 26/11/2005 11:10

i know just dreading the actual having to give it to her...hopefully she'll come and get it rather than me take it to her. if not i'll get DP to take it...i'm a wimp

Or see it as a chance to get on better terms with her, take it round, smile and be friendly.

snowfalls · 26/11/2005 11:11

What did you fall out over?

Kylie03 · 26/11/2005 11:16

oh we took our fence down from our property, which borders theres cos it was falling down. took as a month to put one up, due to ds2 bein in and out of hospital. i thought it was safer to take it down than leave it up as she has three small children who climb on it. anyway she reported us to the council about it(she lives in a council house and we own ours) anyway the fence was up before we got the letter and now she isn't happy bout the height(its 6ft now where before it was 5ft) but our idea was it'd give both families more privacy and i told her that before it was put up and she was happy bout it. i only know shes bitching about me and it was her who reported us cos she's friends with my sil.

Why did you accept it, crazy lady?!

misdee · 26/11/2005 11:17

you fell out over a fence?

Kylie03 · 26/11/2005 11:17

Kylie03 · 26/11/2005 11:17

yes...so cliche isn't it!!

OP posts:
misdee · 26/11/2005 11:19

well at least it wasnt over something trivial

how good a friend was she? can you make up? i'd be annoyed if a fence was left down for a month with 3 small kids, they'd be forever getting out of my garden. but understand the safething thing as well.

Kylie03 · 26/11/2005 11:22

we just sort of spoke when we were out in the garden and when we seen each other in the street. she was also miffed when i didn't invite her kids to DS1 2nd birthday party...but i had it at my mums and it was family only. as i didn't want to invite too many people to my mums house. but i honestly never thought to invite them as there 1,4,and 5 and the don't play with DS1. ooh its so daft!!! i guess this will maybe straighten things out.

Wait until she's out, put a note through the door saying you have her parcel and see if she comes to collect it !

MerlinsBeard · 26/11/2005 11:31

Kylie03 · 26/11/2005 11:34
