is there not anything with postal orders where the post office can track it? the post office will presumably know they havent been cashed if they a number or something?

I hate this situation but do you know if postal orders can be refunded if not cashed?

Im so anti angst by nature but we are in deep financial crisis at the moment (see other thread!!) and cant really afford to lose out and just give my wedding bits away.

if the original counter foil's are held (which they should be kept by the sender) then the postal order amount can be fully reclaimed by the sender.

Also the recordered delivery slip that the post office give you should have a tracking number that you can trace on the royal mail website.

I'm so glad you contacted me because as I mentioned it has completely slipped my mind - no excuse but lots going on personally hence why I haven't been around for a while.

To be honest OO I'mnot and don't feel a whole lot better for just reading some of the posts on pecka'sother thread but i suppose she has been feeling alot worse than me.

i feel terrible thatI have caused her somuch anguish without even bearing it much thought at all over thelast few weeks.

I feel terrible for causing her so much anguish over the last few weeks an without given it a second thought myself - as i said, no excuse at all but have had other things happening recently which has caused me to completely forget about the whole situation.

If Pecka can just bear with me for a few days hopefully I can restore her faith in human nature

I can understand her worry and I would have been a bit peeved myself tbh, but when I saw it was your name I was surprised and couldn't see it being anything untoward (is that the right word?).

At least it is sorted now.

So send the necklace back then or at least let FS know what's going on!

IIRC, she has so maybe let it drop and get sorted out between them...?

She did however has disappeared again after saying on Tuesday that she would send it the next day via Special Delivery! And she been on other threads and still not contacting FS so sorry, I think she's taking the p* and so do many others! I just want to help the lovely FS get her necklace back as she's very upset!

The necklace still hasn't turned up today. It is extremely cruel putting FS/Pecca through this.
