We are moving to another house after Christmas. There is no chain and I am not relying on the sale of the current house to make the move happen.
We are dreadful at DIY and having got some estimates for the long list of minor works required, have decided that I should just give it a good clean and sell it as it is.
I used to think that I would be mortified at doing this, but now realise that there is no point in spending money on anyhting but the most essential repairs. Has anyone else ever done this? - I was thinking about waiting until after we had moved, so that I could at least clear the house of furniture and clutter.
