I just got a MP3 player for my birthday and want to download songs to it, anyone do this, and know where the best places to go? I used to use Napste when it was free, but it seems quite pricey now..

I think you want All of MP3.com It is based in Russia but has stood the test of time and exists, apparently because of a legal loophole in Russian multimedia licensing law. They charge per download, but I understand their software, library and servers are all pretty good. I've never used it myself but googled extensively when it was 'news' a few years ago and it appears to be kosher (in that you get tracks you have paid for). How kosher it is in the legal sense I have no idea.
