Whoever recommended Clever Polly stories - thank you!

Can't remember who told me about them here, but ds (4) absolutely LOVES them. And they are very satisfying to read aloud too. V funny.

I think it was me- that's great that he loves them. I thought he would My mother used to read them to us and I can just remember rolling around holding my sides. Have you read the hypnotism one?

Ooh, no not yet. We got both books from the library - they were selling the second one Last Stories for about 20p.

You're very welcome I will try and find out which book has the hypnotism story, it's a classic. My other favourite is when he kidnaps Lucy and she bosses him around so much that he becomes completely downtrodden.

Ah tatum, that's my favourite one too! Haven't read the aloud to dd/ds yet (on the Christmas list)
