Question for those of you with older kids...

How do you deal with your kids mates running in and out all the time/banging on the door/phoning/getting mud all over the just mopped kitchen floor etc etc.
Do you let them get on with it or make them stand outside and wait or ...?

DS gets his friends to take off their shoes when they come in. If he doesn't, I ask them. I get them to tidy up one set of toys before moving on to the next. I expect the same behaviour from DS's friends as I do from him. He's just turned 6.

constant knocking kids - i go to door and tell them tio sod off.

anyone xomes in my house is expexted to behave the same way my kids do - so if they eat - they wash their plate - if they play they put toys away.

if they want to play in garden they use back gate
