It would make the water a pretty colour, but will it stain the child?

Trying to make a bath more interesting, but don't really want a baby smurf!

Yes it would I think (strangely, I have never tried this!)

Toothache · 10/11/2005 10:30

Flamesparrow... thats really made me smile, just when I needed to.

Don't know the answer though, as oddly enough, I haven't tried this yet either.

oh poo She us getting bored with bubbles, and her crayons have died (santa is bringing new ones).

Anyone know for sure?

Shall I just make her blue anyway - It'd be good for comedy value if nothing else!

Go on then.... I'm curious now.

flamesparrow · 10/11/2005 10:38

Oooh santa might need to bring some of those then!!!

I don't think I can bring myself to be that cruel to her TA (sorry ) - apart from anything else, taking her to see nursery later!!!

food colouring is a common ingredient in bath bombs -- someone gave ds2 a kit, bit I just googled a recipe here

I have used food colouring in the bath It doesn't stain bath or child. I think one of the colours (blue maybe?) made dd very itchy, but she has mild eczema anyway.

It's really fun mixing colours too

flamesparrow · 10/11/2005 10:45

Oh sod it - I'll give it a go

If I have a funny colour child then I'm blaming all you (and obviosuly taking many photos to tease her with later....)

Blu · 10/11/2005 11:07

yes, it will stain your child, your towels, the bath mat, you....

dizzydo · 10/11/2005 16:01

When my dd's were young I used to do this all the time my dd's loved it!! It doesnt stain unless you drop it neat on the towels it is too dilute. Have fun.
