most of my yummy mummies go there and buy baby stuff, I've only been to a few stores myself, never bought anything, but the range looked good and the stores inviting. Am a total sucker in this, is that a good shop?any other suggestions? ta!

How far gone are you and what kind of baby stuff are you referring to?

supadupapupascupa · 12/05/2011 11:04

it honestly depends on what you want to buy

DooinMeCleanin · 12/05/2011 11:06

Don't say yummy mummies. Do you mean for maternity wear? I thought their stuff was a bit frumpy tbh. I liked stuff from Next if you're on a budget. I have no idea about higher end stuff, but jo jo mama bebe gets good reviews.

Mother Care's baby clothes are nice enough. Parms etc are all the same wherever you go. Shopping online is usually cheaper.

Oh and congrats Smile

terrified but happy, 3 months in! basics, clothes, swaddle blankets for the baby, and something nice for my growing hot ass! preferably, all in one store, as really really don't have time

If this is for real, read this thread first.

AmazingBouncingFerret · 12/05/2011 11:15

How old are you artichoke?

TheMitfordsMaid · 12/05/2011 11:15

No. Don't go to Mothercare, the service is dreadful. If you value your blood pressure shop elsewhere.

SenoritaViva · 12/05/2011 11:17

I honestly wouldn't be buying much for the baby yet, I'd wait. As exciting as it is. You can get carried away and get stuff that actually you don't need at all. Rather get yourself a few things for your expanding self.

squeaver · 12/05/2011 11:24

I have a strong suspicion that artichoke is conducting some kind of market research here.

artichoke007 · 12/05/2011 11:44

ok, just read the thread suggested above....eeuugh.. oh well, any good places still though? am on a budget, but still would like something nice for maternity and basics
