My DN started secondary school this year.He didn't get off to a good start and has been hit a few times but I'd like to think he gave as good as he got.

Well tonight, he had several boys after him as he had told a teacher about something one of them done. Now he is refusing to go back to school.

He wants to stay off until Tuesday but we are trying to tell him this isn't the answer, its better if its sorted out tomorrow. But, should we make him face the boy/s involved or just go straight to the head of year?

Most schools are proactive about dealing with bullies. Inform the school of the latast inicident, they are not stupid and with not go in all guns blazin and make it worse. perhaps they could just monitor it for a few days. if its a clash between your child and the boys, perhaps he should move forms.GOOD LUCK.
