I took DS's red book to the library and he got a goodie bag with 3 reading books, a big A4 notepad and a pack of coloring pens, all for free.

They have different ages gifts but we only got the last one as he is 3.

So if you haven't claimed your one already, get it now!

I don't know if its all libraries, I'm in Hackney. Its called bookstart and there are 3 packs available.

1- babies 1yr and under
2- toddlers 2yrs
3- 3yr olds.

It is available in the Highlands. I received a letter with and invitation to go to the library to collect my dds. I hope she gets another one at 3yrs.

misdee you should be able to get one from the library

my mum works in our local library and she said they can give them out there, although you're supposed to get it at the check

i don't think it's something they advertise particularly.
the bookstart scheme is a govt initiative i think, so it should be available everywhere
