Vests - are your dd/ds wearing them yet this year?

I've finally put the heating on, and am thinking perhaps I should send dd to school with a vest on under her uniform tomorrow. But, I don't want her to get uncomfortably hot while at school, and not be able to do anything about it.... This is such odd/changeable weather - don't want her to be cold, but don't want her to be too hot either!

When do you start putting vests on your kids? Or are they already wearing them?

no

Yes, but my DS1 wears a vest year-round. He refuses to wear a coat or hat, pretty much ever, so without vests, we'd have a real problem.

DD wears hers on all but the hottest days! She's a creature of comfort. DS refused point blank to wear them when he was about 3, and hasn't worn one since. Doesn't seem to feel the cold.

Not yet, usually wrap him up in jumper if its chilly indoors. Must admit I have been thinking about it! Ds doesnt even have blankets/covers on his bed yet, he is warm blooded like his dad.
