Mine walk in front of me, and then just stop at random intervals so that I walk into them.

minor I know in the shape of things but it drives me nuts!

What do yours do?

Takes his shoes and socks off.

kate100 · 04/11/2005 15:04

DS2 hangs out of the side of the double buggy, I've nearly decapitated him many times. He also puts his arms out and knocks things off the shelves Again little things, but they do bother me.

dd2 drops and rolls down the aisles.

beatie · 04/11/2005 15:42

Touches everything. And she doesn't walk - she hops, skips, jumps, frolics but won't just walk. She once 'fell' out of thin air at Sainsbury's and cut her lip on the hard floor.

Mine ds is 6 and he likes to push the trolley, we have a deal after the 2nd time he rams it into my legs I take over, so thats usually 2 mins in and the rest of the time he pleads to let him push it again.

mine is 9 months old and in supermarket we get the low-level uurrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
whinge the whole way round
he cries because he wants to hold something, so you let him and he holds it over the side of the trolley then drops it
he then cries because it's on the floor
you give it back.. he drops it... OVER AND OVER AND OVER AGAIN

My DD usually tells me she needs the loo, just as we're about to go and pay for everything!!

My DS tries to eat the chain thing that connects all the trolleys together if he sits on the rhs of the trolley! If he sits on the lhs he tries to pull everything off the conveyor belt as I put it on!!!

littlerach · 04/11/2005 16:44

Yes, the hop, skip and jumpo pattern is particular;ly annoyinh.
And hanging off the pushchair instead of just holding it.
And stopping in front of the pushchair too.

DD2 tries to escape the pushchair and goes scarlet with the effort. And does a really loud moaning noise to accompany it.

NotQuiteCockney · 04/11/2005 16:47

What is this "shopping" activity of which you speak?

Seriously, I almost never take my older one shopping. And rarely take the little one. Too much like hard work! DS1 just whinges and whinges for whatever ridiculous thing he wants.

JenumGeranium · 04/11/2005 16:51

Both my boys love to 'hide' in and under the rails of clothes!

She used to be so good, nowadays I need suppernanny with me.

Tortington · 04/11/2005 18:51

i cant stand it when they all come to the car when i get home and help me unpack.

it gets right on my tits when they put the shopping away too

pixel · 04/11/2005 18:52

When I'm struggling to push ds in his buggy and have the basket over my arm, dd ALWAYS manages to be just behind me when I turn round to pick something up so that the basket gives her a painful whack on the temple. Will she ever learn to stay where I can see her?

Blandmum · 04/11/2005 18:53

I shouldn't have laughed at that Pixel, but I did

Actually it's taking dh shopping that drives me insane.

noddyholder · 04/11/2005 18:59

I hate it when ds begs for stuff in front of the shop assistants and says the famous last words I'LL PAY YOU BACK! What with?

ThePrisoner · 04/11/2005 23:48

Mine isn't a problem with children, it's a problem with dh. We don't make a habit of shopping together but, when we do, he tends to wander off and lurks outside the shop. He waits till he sees me at the cash desk, and thinks it's really funny to ring me on my mobile.
