I was rather annoyed today to receive a request to sell raffle tickets for/ donate to a charity. They had an online petition seeking to put pressure on the government to fund something. I signed that (because I believe it should have governnment funding) and even e-mailed it to friends. I didn't realise I was signing up to be pestered for money. Would you, or would you be annoyed too?
I have taken this up with the charity so I am quite sure they got my details from the online petition, not the phone book or anywhere else.
