The world according to DP. I think he fails to differentiate that he looks at 'men' sites and I look at womens. My typing is 'annoying him' and, really I should come off here now.

I have not been on here hardly at all recently, an hour a day tops, and several days not at all for being at work. I am suffering withdrawel and want to get my fill before the stressful weekend. He is watching a film I do not want to watch.

So, I'm all comfy and cosey in bed with laptop, and he is in lounge sulking. Everybody happy then?

Oh, and, all of you hairy truckers out there, he'd like to know if any of you will give me a baby. He is feeling left out don't you know!

Metinks he wants a snuggle! Awwww!

Flossam · 03/11/2005 22:31

Ah, but we went through the same last night. 'Don't talk to them, talk to me!' So I turned the tele off, and he got must upset. 'What have you done that for?' 'So we can talk' I said. 'What about?' says he. Says it all dosen't it?!

He is happiest whining. I am indulging him really by doing this!

If you do that often enough, he'll be plugging the laptop back in for you! Works with my dh!

LadySherlockofLGJ · 03/11/2005 22:42

Tell him to FO, that you are surfing the web looking for a way out of his mess.

What is the latest on his mess BTW ??

JoolsToo · 03/11/2005 22:44

yeah! and I'll bet when he's watching the match he positively encourages to come into the arms of hairy truckers!

paolosgirl · 03/11/2005 22:45

Always talk to them when their footie/crap thriller/violent film is on. Then they can't cope with speaking and watching telly at the same time and you can flounce off to MN

Well we are waiting for a start date for his new job. Which despite pre interview being the end of March may now be the beginning of Jan. Our lease on this flat runs out on the 8th May. No idea how that is going to work. Looking like him toing and froing from Bristol and back to look after DS while I try and work too. Supporting the rent on this place when his wages are down is going to be a big issue too. Also means no hope in hell of trying to get a mortgage. Therefore, higher rent prices, less money.

To be fair to him, he does seem to be thinking alot more about his money. He has set himself a daily budget, and when we were thinking of getting a take away this evening, he sat down and worked out whether he could afford it. He couldn't so he went out and brought some frozen junk he could put in the oven. He is becoming quite stingey and is so far on target to save about £250 this month, that with it being DS's birthday next week too. So not bad going.

Basically the tact that I feel is best is just to not get in any more debt. If we avoid it we will be debt free in 2010. To me, atm, having a brother or sister for DS with a reasonable age gap is of importance, and something I think I will regret later on if I dont. So plan is to be sensible with money, but not to save so hard we can't live anymore. Less stressful and therefore hopefully more achievable. Saving for three years would mean that all our debts would be gone by 2008. I'm rambling again sorry. I hope that makes some sense and you don't think I am all mad!!

Floss

If you are happy then that is all that matters.

Much love

LGJ

Flossam · 03/11/2005 23:41

Thank you LGJ. Am looking forward to meeting you later this month (managed to wedge myself into a pair of size 12 jeans, and, if I wear them to the meet, you will see my definition of wedge!!)
