How can i get chewing gum off of dd's top?

Have tried putting it in the freezer but it still won't come off! Any advice appreciated please!

Oh poo - was just going to say put it in the freezer! Will it not crack off if it's really solid?

Peanut butter.

There's stuff you can get from people like Kleeneze and Great Little Trading Co - mine's called Goo Gone, prob from GLTC, and it does work when freezing doesn't.

how long did you leave in freezer for?
try it overnight so it all fully freezes... shouldn't be stringy

Put the top in the freezer and leave till the gum has well and truly hardened...that way you can just peel it off

oops should have read initial thread. Yeah just leave it in for as long as it takes to become like rock

Lighter fluid - petrol stuff - you can still get it from cigarette counters. Really works. (It leaves a greasy mark but that evaporates and after you wash it it's gone )

or this stuff called 'sticky stuff remover' from lakeland workswonders (like goo gone!)
