First of all I am full of raging hormones so please excuse me.

How do you deal with friends/visitors setting their standards in yoru house?

My pal came this evening despite ringing her and saying I wasnt feeling well and during the few hours she was here she parked on my drive and dropped oil from her car (Ultimate sin in dh's eyes), she got our rabbit out and conbsequently he shit all round the house and then hid behind hte tv, then just before she went at 10.30 she decided to stroke the rabbit who is in the process of moulting LOADS and so now not only do Ihave shit all over the carpet but also tufts of rabbit fur which I will now need to (at 11pm) vaccuum up. Also put glass of red wine on dining table (with wine on base of glass).

I wouldnt' notice any of it (except the rabbit, as we don't have a rabbit ) I have very low standards mind. Don't look under my kitchen table!

QueenEagle · 02/11/2005 23:08

Crikey, that would drive me mad and unlike you, I have no excuse such as raging hormones to hide behind!!

I wouldn't dream of behaving in this way in anyone elses house. Sorry but your friend sounds very insensitive.

aloha · 02/11/2005 23:09

I wouldn't vacuum tbh. But as I say, very low standards and domestic slut.

your standards are ever so much higher than mine tbh. coming round when you said you were sick is pretty rude though.
make her stand on the porch in future - but better still, don't answer the door next time.

Ulysees · 02/11/2005 23:31
