just had an near miss. feel a bit shakey.

busy roundabout, i checked and checked again. mad old woman on scooter beside me, checked again to pull out, did and another car came speeding round the roundabout. lots of brakes.

Sounds like they were driving too fast round the roundabout, glad you are ok. At least you hit the brakes..I would probably hit the accelerator if I could drive myself

misdee I can totally sympathise, I passed my test 6 years ago drove to work and back only for about 9 months then with one thing and another never drove for years. Have only started driving again (in a new area so don't know roads etc). Have had a few near misses recently, it freaks you out especially when you have littlies in the car. I stalled at a busy roundabout the other day and you should have seen my parking today double .

oh forgot to add when I first started driving the very first time I drove my car (had 14 miles on the clock) I scrapped it off a wall! Hit a wheelie bin, scrapped it off a Mercedes in a car park oh and a bus hit me on a roundabout. I hesitated he thought I should have gone and hit me, my fiesta was fine bus had a dent!
